He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Fahner and Arlene Fahner; his parents-in-law, Richard and Ailene Doe; and his sister Karen Ridderman.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Dr. Jennifer Di Rocco (Peter) of Kailua, Hawaii and Matthew Fahner (Tracy) of Belmont, Michigan; his grandchildren, Mason Di Rocco and Nora Di Rocco; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Post of Kentucky, Faye Miles (Michael) of Grand Rapids, Mary Kay Schultz (Frank) of Sturgis, Richard Ridderman of Indiana and Ronald Doe (Mary) of Ohio.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids (600 S Main St, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827).
