He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garland and Fay Garland. He is survived by: his wife Lori; his children, Pam and David; his stepdaughter Samantha Rasmussen (Chad); his siblings-in-law, Terry Dougherty (Frank), Cindy Chamberlin and Rocky Chamberlin (Jamie); and his father-in-law Roger Chamberlin (Kelly). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tarrington Church (6801 Creyts Rd, Dimondale, MI 48821).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
