He is survived by: his sons, Richard Deuel and John Deuel; his grandson John Deuel II; his mother Beverly Wichman; and his siblings, Steve (Cheryl Deuel), Bob Deuel, Doug (Bambi Duigud) and Sue Duigud. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
