He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hoose and Elsie Hoose (Brasher); his stepmother Pauline Peterman-Hoose; his in-laws, Victor and Edna Ramont; his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Ramont, Ginger Lefke-Lawler, Debbie Hoose and Kenny Ramont; and his nephews, Shawn Hoose, Kyle Wethy, Brent and Brian Lefke.
He is survived by: his friend Vicki Ramont; his mother-in-law Edna Ramont; his cousins, Pat and Linda Murphy; his wife Vicki Hoose; his children, Karen Williams (Keith), Shane Hoose (Carrilee) and Troy Hoose (Nicole); his grandchildren, Angie Williams, Jennifer Wegher (Kevin), Rachel Mannor (Kirk), Jarred Hoose (Jessica), Jake Hoose, Ashley Hoose (Josh VanGuilder) and Kylie Henfling (Colby); his siblings, Roy Hoose and Doreen Wethy (Jerry); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Ramont, Dennis Ramont (Cheryl) and Reni Ramont Hilton. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 3:30 PM, on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the City Church (6228 Bishop Rd, Lansing, MI 48911).
