He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Josey; his siblings, Paul Josey and Gwen Josey; and his nephew Noah Goethal. He is survived by: his wife Dawn Josey; his daughters, Elizabeth Josey-Kring (Emily), Jennifer Betteley (Kevin) and Stephanie Koperski (Cory); his grandchildren, Quinn, Claire Betteley, Josie, Collin Koperski, Margot and Imogene Josey-Kring; his mother Barbara Josey; his parents-in-law, Denny and Amy Goethal; his sisters, Pat Josey (Tony Schuster) and Dotty Peare (Jeff); his brothers-in-law, Dennis Goethal (Becky) and Kevin Goethal (Kristy); and his pets, Ivy and Riley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services - Dorr Chap (4330 18th St, Dorr, MI 49323). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services (Dorr Chapel) (4330 18th St, Dorr, MI 49323).
In memory of Chuck and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) to advance brain cancer research.
