Donald Brent Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Brent Smith of Dorr, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Smith and Neoma Smith; his brother Roger Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Ron DeYoung and Roger DeYoung.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his sons, Mike Smith (Adrienne), Matt Smith (Jody Babcock) and Mark Smith (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashley (Cam), Conner, Jeremy, Charlie, Jessica and Robert; his great grandchildren, Lyla and Jack; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn DeYoung (Frank Amatangelo), Marge DeYoung, Dorothy DeYoung and Jerry DeYoung (Candy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In honor of Don and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or DAV – Disabled American Veterans.
