He is survived by: his wife Marlene Sal (Van Dis); his son Michael Sal (Jenn); his son-in-law Kevin Tryc; his grandchildren, Matthew Tryc, Emily Tryc, Austin Sal, Justin Sal and Avalynn Kauffman; his great grandchildren, Grayson and Gabriel Sal; his brother Don Sal (Mary); and his in-laws, Adrian Van Dis (Barb), Shirley Van Dis, Wilma Klamer, Connie Mesbergen (Todd) and Rick Van Dis (Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
