We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Roger Haveman of Dorr, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Roger may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haveman and Lena Haveman; and his sister Diane Grover. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his pet Peanut; his children, Robert Haveman (Carolyn), Randy Haveman, Kristine Althouse (Mark) and Roger John Haveman (Jessica); and his sister Mary VanSweden (Rodney). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life Church (160 Pine St, Wayland, MI 49348).
