She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Funk and Louise Funk (Steffes); her husband Ronald Burd; her siblings, Theresa Pelgrim, James, Mary Louise Pfeiffer, Bernard and Gary; and her nieces, Lynn and Carrie.

She is survived by: her son Daniel; her siblings, Eugene, Raymond (Kathleen), Patricia Van Wagner (Don), Susan Gruis and Deborah Valenti (Mike); and her siblings-in-law, James Pfeiffer and Deborah Funk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.

Given the restrictions on flowers in the church, contributions in Rose's honor may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Michigan (biami.org).
