It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Helmholdt of Dorr, Michigan, who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Helmholdt; her parents, Carl Roosendaal and Lena Roosendaal; her grandchildren, Andy Rusticus, Katie Hibma and Jeremy Hibma; and her brother Douglas Jay Roosendaal.

She is survived by: her children, Carlene Cooke (Tom), Doug Helmholdt (Barb), Joan Hibma (Brian), Denise Scholten (Mark) and David Helmholdt (Amanda); and her siblings, Jerry Roosendaal (Connie), Darryl Roosendaal (Mona) and Joyce Johnson. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Sharon, contributions may be made to Moline Christian School.
