We announce the death of Harry Tolson (Douglas, Michigan), who passed away on October 30, 2026, at the age of 93. Harry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Tolson Sr. and Charlsie Tolson (Snell); and his siblings, Arthur M. Tolson Jr. and Effie Gene Hey. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lucille Tolson (Bushman); and his children, Stephanie Tolson-Daniels (Matt), Tracey Throckmorton (David), John Tolson (Cynthia), Timothy Tolson (Francisco) and Eric Tolson (Thae-Thae). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (100 St Peters Dr, Douglas, MI 49406). A rosary will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St Peter's Catholic Church (100 St Peters Dr, Douglas, MI 49406). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Peter Catholic Church, Douglas, MI., Brighton Hospice in Grand Rapids, MI., or the charity of your choice.
