It is with sadness that the passing of Ada Mae Springsteen of Dowagiac, Michigan is shared. Ada, born on October 17, 1935, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tart and Katheryn Tart (Jordan). She is survived by: her husband A. Bruce Springsteen; her children, Deborah Meiser (John), Rebecca O'Hagan (Dave) and David Springsteen (Audra); her grandchildren, John Meiser (Julie), Stefanie Goretzka (Brian), David O'Hagan (Kathryn), Kevin O'Hagan (Morgon), Katelyn Smokovich (Lucas), Jillian Springsteen-Grooters (Kyle) and Amanda Springsteen; her great grandchildren, Drew Goretzka, Carson Meiser (Samantha), Alyssa Goretzka, Cole Meiser, Ford Smokovich, Archer Smokovich, Cal O'Hagan, Yara O'Hagan and Jack O'Hagan; and her great great grandchild Beckham Meiser.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (326 N Lowe St, Dowagiac, MI 49047). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or the Bruce & Ada Springsteen Family Endowment at Southwestern Michigan College.
