He was predeceased by: his brother Allen Withers; his sister-in-law Ruthanne Smith; and his niece Valerie Coates. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Withers of Dowagiac; his children, Jennifer Gilliam (Leon) of Dowagiac and Jeffrey Withers (Lisa) of Cassopolis; his grandsons, Tyler Gilliam (Leny) of Edwardsburg, Taylor Gilliam of Cassopolis, Jacob Withers of Cassopolis and Justyn Withers (Alycia) of Decatur; his great grandchild Tatum Gilliam; his brother Richard Withers (Jean) of Three Rivers; his brother-in-law Philip Meiser (Betty) of Dowagiac; and his nieces and nephews, Andrea, Patty, Tom, Bruce, John, Matt, Chris, April, Adam and Collin.
