We announce the death of Billie Jean Bailey of Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Deming and Annette Deming (Kidman); and her siblings, Sherry Lyons, Gail Wiggins and James Deming.
She is survived by: her husband Duane Bailey Sr.; her children, Lynn Nelson (Greg), Duane Jr. Bailey (Patricia) and Kristi Fenimore (Jeff); her grandchildren, Torie Winchester (Mike), Greg Nelson (Allie), Anthony Nelson (Gabbi), Whitney Emerson (Adam), Kayla Dodd (Justin), Jeffrey Fenimore and Brandi Polinski (Cameron); her great grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Macie, Maddox, Everliegh, Archer, Hudson, Clay, Obi, Violet, Maddy, Grayson, Piper, Rogan, Koda, Oakleigh, Luna, River and Gatlin; and her sisters, Bonnie Fritz and Carol Hemmingway (Bob). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions in Billie's name may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Corewell Health Hospice & Palliative Care.
