She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Hunter and Edna Hunter (Dawson); her husband Wayne K. Mattix; and her siblings, Thomas, Willie Hunter and Margaret Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Mattix (Tracy) and Melissa Mattix; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Pierce (Zac), Rebecca Thar (Tony), Courtney Hennen (Sean), Cierra McCaffrey (Brendan) and Kenneth Isaac Mattix; her great grandchildren, Abbi, Parker Pierce, Taylor Thar, Foster, Demi Hennen, Logan, Bryon, Jonathan, Killian and Neila McCaffrey; and her brother Wilson "Pete" Hunter (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
