With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christina Lara of Dowagiac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2026 at the age of 44. She was predeceased by: her father Filiberto Gutierrez; her brother Jose Gutierrez; and her daughter Desiree Lara. She is survived by: her mother Emma Gutierrez (Ureste); her husband Jose Lara Sr.; her children, Jose Jr. Lara (Taylore Froehlich), Thalia Lara (Isaac Saavedra), Jacob Lara and Tatiyana Lara; her grandchildren, Zayn, Evelyn, Isla and Ariella; and her siblings, Louis Gutierrez, Lucas Gutierrez, Jessica Lopez (Manuel), Victoria Rodriguez (Abraham) and Gilberto Gutierrez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
