He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilberta Swisher (Wilson) and William Sr. Swisher; and his siblings, William "Billy" Swisher, Ramona Duff and Mary Lynn Yeager.

He is survived by : his sons, Matthew Swisher (Sandra), Chad Swisher and Tony Swisher (Courtney); his grandchildren, Hannah, Trinity, Xavier, Abagail, Payton, Hayden, Harper and Chase; and his siblings, Chester "Chet" Swisher and Karen Councilman (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
