She was predeceased by : her father Robert Penrod; her husband John Wilson; her mother Helen Leighton (Eaglebarger); and her siblings, Weston Leighton and Marcy Bartels.

She is survived by : her children, Virginia Rank (Clyde), Tim Wilson (Johnna), Joyce Wilson, John Wilson and Robbie Wilson (Amy).

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dowagiac Moose Lodge.
