He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Malo; his daughter Tonya Malo; his parents, Herbert Malo and Selma Baumgart; and his brothers, Ted and Chester Malo.
He is survived by: his son Dan Malo; and his granddaughters, Megan Malo and Brandy Klein. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
