She is survived by: her children, Ricky Brown Jr., Suzette Smith (Wardel), David J. Brown, Jeannette Fitchett (Andy) and Vance Brown (Crystal); her siblings, Thompson and Arquilla Turner; her cousin Patricia Murray (Harold Beckhum); and her close friend Annie Lewis. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
