She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie B. Dykes and David Dykes; her brother John Dykes; her husband Leonard Barkes; her sons, Bruce Turnbow and Ben Turnbow; and her granddaughters, Leslie Turnbow and Ashley Turnbow.
She is survived by: her children, Phylis Koppman (Larry), James Turnbow (Rena), Tom Turnbow (Marci), Jeff Turnbow (Michelle) and Yvonne Jones (David); her daughter-in-law Lori Turnbow (Johns); and her sisters, Barb Wells (Tom) and Alice Muzzal (Rickey). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; a great number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Peggy's memory.
