She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert LaRue and Dora LaRue; her children, Jean Smith (Jimmy), Terry Ladyga (Karen), Thomas Sobieski, Carol Ferrier, Dennis Ferrier, Dana Gutierrez (David) and Dawn Webster; her brother Herbert LaRue; her son James Ladyga; and her siblings, Maxine Gerard and Phillip LaRue. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Jean Smith.
