She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Kent and Edna Kent (Null); her siblings, Louise Davis, Linda Clubb and James Kent; and her grandsons, Michael Anthony and Alexander McTeague.

She is survived by : her husband Donald Pye Sr.; her children, Cindy Simmons (Bob) of Dowagiac, Donald Jr. Pye (Erica) of Dowagiac and Cheri Pye of Dowagiac; her stepchildren, David Pye (Kim), Barry Johnson, Dawn Rugar and Debra McTeague (Allen Prigel); her grandchildren, Jessica Gray (Phillip), Brandon Simmons (Lauren), Justin Joanis (Lauren), Mathew Joanis (Katie Hendrix), Diondra McTeague, Grant Rugar, Alyssa Rugar, Emily Johnson, Taylor Pye, Aaron Pye, Chalee Elmore (Dylan), Noah Miston, Dave Pye, Hunter Pye and Justice Pye; her sister-in-law Betty Erskine; and her niece Kelly Settle. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
