It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sally Ruth Kimmey of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in Adamsville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elam and Josie Elam (Hill); her former husband Billy Alexander; her son Billy Douglas Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Michael Drum and Caressa Alexander.

She is survived by: her husband James Kimmey of Dowagiac; her daughters, Pam Hemenway (Phil) of Dowagiac and Kathy Wallace (Verlin) of Decatur; and her siblings, Charles "Bud" Elam (Hazel) of Dowagiac, Carolyn Fielder of Winfield, Jack Elam (Maureen) of Marcellus, Betty "Deanie" Dennis of Florida, Patsy Wallace of Dowagiac and Hillard Elam (Diane) of Syracuse, Indiana. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, and due to COVID her family will be hosting a private burial at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
