With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sharon C. Rahn of Dowagiac, Michigan, whose life came to an end on October 2, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth C. "Smokey" Rahn; her parents, John Vanderhoek and Christine Vanderhoek; her siblings, Karen and John; and her nephew John.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Rahn (Dawn), Kimberly Stemple, Valerie Voss (Frank) and Amy Boshears (Dave); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Bryan), Eric (Joslyne), Kristina, Danielle, Kaylee, Ryan (Morgan), Juliana, Luke, Jacob (Brittany), Jackson and Addyson; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Isaiah, Noah, Brielle and Sophia; her siblings, Gary Vanderhoek and Caroline Carstensen; and her sister-in-law Patricia Vanderhoek.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home (3227 Ridge Rd, Lansing, IL 60438). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Church (8910 Grace St, Highland, IN 46322).
