We are sad to announce that, on May 17, 2022, at the age of 82, Thomas D. Szymczak of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Szymczak and Anna Szymczak (Grzywna). He is survived by: his wife Susan Gacek; his sons, Chad Szymczak (Jennifer) of Paw Paw, MI, Tom Szymczak (Rose Bonato) of Calumet City, IL, Michael Szymczak of Elkhart, IN and Craig Szymczak (Christi) of Mishawaka, IN; and his brother-in-law John Gacek (Sharon Stone) of Oak Lawn, IL. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name may be made to Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
