With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Douglas Brinkman of Dowling, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Jo Brinkman (Davis); and his siblings, Douglas Brinkman, Debbie and Cheryl Brinkman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Amundson-Brinkman; his father James R. Brinkman; his sons, Dakota Brinkman (Pandora), Jade Brinkman and Levi Brinkman; his stepson Joseph Amundson; his siblings, Lori Brinkman, Chris Brinkman (Sarah) and Ken (Rose); and his grandchildren, Genesis and Ezekiel Brinkman.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James's memory may be directed to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan.
