He is survived by: his significant other Sandy; his caregiver Sandy; his children, Eric (Lily), Elsholz (Lily), Scott Elsholz (Angie) and Kristen Knight (Keith); his stepchildren, Marty Pool and Jeff Blackburn (Angie); and his brother Mike. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The lying in state was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (460 Riley St, Dundee, MI 48131).
