She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Vandecasteele and Julie Vandecasteele (Gheldof); her husband George W. Salenbien; her grandchildren, Lee Salenbien, Jr. and Tammy Lloyd Motylinski; her great grandchildren, Larry Kreps, III and Kylie Rogers; her sisters, Elizabeth Hoffman, Madeline Trawinski and Gina Salenbien; and her sons-in-law, Larry Kreps, Sr. and Philip Motylinski.

She is survived by : her children, George Salenbien (Sandy) of Dundee, David Salenbien (Lynn) of Dundee, Leon Salenbien (Janet) of Dundee, Jerry Salenbien (Debbie) of Dundee, Judy and Dcn. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 142 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Dundee Volunteer Fire Department, Elara Caring Hospice, or Divine Grace Parish, Maybee Campus.
