He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Dorothy Schmidt; his father Bud; his son Michael J.; his grandson Michael N.; his sister Geneva Coors; his daughter Dale Mason (Dwight); his daughter-in-law Julie Stough; and his grandchildren, Christopher Mason (Allison), Gregory Mason (Jessica), Eric Mason (Stacy), Nichole Stough and Jennifer Hammerschmidt (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church or to the Dundee Township Volunteer Fire Department.
