We announce the death of David Lee Shenk of Durand, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 85. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shenk and Carol Shenk. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Porter; his children, Vickie Shenk (Kim) of Venice, FL and Scott Shenk (Jackie) of Durand; his grandchildren, Heather (Jake Neering) of Lennon, Whitney Kincaid (Brian) of Lennon and Nicole Shenk (Maria) of Pinellas Park, FL; his great grandchildren, Jonathon, Camryn, Giulia Gall, Brianna and Elliana Kincaid; and his brother Robert Shenk (Jane) of Durand.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Durand VFW Post 2722 (923 N Saginaw St, Durand, MI 48429).
