Florence Ida Hildebrandt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Ida Hildebrandt of Durand, Michigan, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur W. Hildebrandt; and her parents, Charles VanHorn and Libby VanHorn (Campbell). She is survived by: her siblings, Ora, Norman VanHorn, Hazel Anderson, Marion VanHorn, Doris Smith and Opal Schliter; her daughters-in-law, Judy and Joy; and her children, Leslie Hildebrandt of Owosso, Jim Hildebrandt (Carolyn) of Durand, Michael Hildebrandt (Karen) of Durand and Brenda Rathbun (Mike) of Fruitport. She is also survived by grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Florence's honor to Harbor Hospice, the Shiawassee Humane Society, or Durand Nazarene Church.
