He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Grant and Bessie Grant (Grunwald); his brother Harvey Grant; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Allen and Terry Burlingame.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Grant; his children, Stephanie Grant (Tyson Lyons) and Gary Grant Jr.; his grandchildren, Ceara Robinson (Jacob), Mattison Misner (David Baker) and Meghan Boertman (Spencer); his sister Patricia Grant; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine Allen and Kristina Balish-Briggs (Zach). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church - Durand (700 Columbia Dr, Durand, MI 48429).
Memorial contributions in Gary's name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
