The memory of Gerald Lee Weatherwax Sr. of Durand, Michigan, born in Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on May 16, 2024 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervin George and Margaret Weatherwax (Miller); his wife Sandy; his son Gerald "Jerry" Weatherwax Jr.; and his siblings, Ron, Don, Bonnie and Sandy.

He is survived by : his daughter Jill Edwards; his grandchildren, Mayse Meyers (CJ), Madison Edwards and Marisa Bennett; and his great grandchildren, Mallaree, Mallaki, Myllee Meyers, Braxton Mills, Jaxzyn Edwards and Beckley Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Durand Chapel (501 N Saginaw St, Durand, MI 48429). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
