She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Slater and Ada Slater (Nichols); her husband Charles William Lackey; her children, Charles "Rick" Lackey and Debbie Hillier; her grandson Nick Andes; her siblings, Martha Spencer, James Slater, Glen Slater, William Slater and John Slater; and her sister-in-law Millie Slater.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryle Andes (Robert) of Midland, MI; her siblings, Richard Slater of Nashua, NH and Jean Coffey (Rex) of Clio, MI; her grandchildren, Christopher Lackey, Amanda Brunger, Jason Russell, Rachel Pence, Joshua Russell, Rebecca Lopez, Sarah Balogh and Carlye Andes; her daughter-in-law Marla Lackey; and her close friend Jeannine. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
