Mary Anne (Ream) Hallett Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Anne (Ream) Hallett of Durand, Michigan, who departed this life on February 22, 2026, at the age of 64. Mary’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Hallett, who passed away only weeks before her. Their bond was one of deep love and devotion, and we take comfort in knowing they are reunited. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Delores Ream; her father, Forrest Ream II; and her brothers, Charles Ream and Forrest Ream III.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Tia Ream, Tanille Lowe (Dustin), Nathan Cavanaugh, stepdaughter Kris Witty (Jeremy), and stepson Jeff Hallett (Mandi). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Brendon, Brianna, Allen, Jeremy, and Colton, who brought her immense joy and pride.

Mary will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the warmth she shared so freely. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
