It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Maxine Fuja of Durand, Michigan, born in Perry, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Fred Pitt and Ellen Pitt (Forest); her husband John A. Fuja; her sons, Mike Fuja (Collette) of Durand, Pat Fuja (Karla) of Vernon, Joel Fuja of Durand and Jeff Fuja (Maureen) of Eden Prairie, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher, Dallas, Janelle, Jake, Allie, Erica Fuja, Jack and Claire Jackson; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Wilson and Elyse Fuja; her sister Betty Gilbert of Florida; and her grandmothers, Ashley, Cathy, Lisa, Stacey and Melinda. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
