He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bohman; his children, Ryan Bohman and Kelly Simmons (Tom); his grandchildren, Caitlin Simmons and John Simmons; his sisters, Sharon Cooney (Joe) and Karen Allen (Brandon Kett); his nephew Craig Ackerman; his cousin Scott Shelp; and his stepbrothers, Paul Forman and Kyle Forman. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
