He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. Cottenham and Maretta Cottenham (McDowell); his wife Norma Mae Cottenham; and his brothers, Forest and Harve.
He is survived by: his children, Kristine Lepior (Bill) and William Cottenham II; his grandchildren, Amy Park (Josh) and Benjamin Lepior (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Malakai, William, Jenna and Audrey; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Dasen, Virginia Cottenham and Helen Cottenham.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
