She was predeceased by: her mother Clarice Shackelton (Kaufman); her husband Thomas; and her brother Jim Shackelton. She is survived by: her father Oliver Shackelton; her granddaughters, Kayleeigh and Madison; her daughter Jennifer Cottom; her son-in-law Aaron Cottom; her son Jason Emelander; her sister-in-law Margaret Shackelton; and her nieces and nephews, Yvonne Esakoff, Michelle Shackelton, Mike Emelander (Nikki), Dan Emelanders (Christine), Ashley Shackelton and Liam Emelander.
