It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Beatrice Potton of East China, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Easter and Beatrice Easter; and her siblings, Laurence and Doris (Bill). She is survived by: her daughter Janet Potton; and her niece Joan Westbrook (Anthony). She is also survived by three great nieces and eight great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Joyce's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
