It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard E. He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Roland and Annie Roland; his in-law Anthony Giganti (Lena); and his brother-in-law Anthony Giganti. He is survived by : his children, Dawn Pieprzak (Terry), Gregory Roland (Jennifer) and Scott Roland (Anna); his grandchildren, Heather Oles (Joseph Jr.), Joel Pieprzak (Amber), Kaitlyn Roland, Katherine Roland, Austin Roland (Cara Hamlin) and Lindsay Roland; his great grandchildren, Addison, Joseph Oles III, Brody and Ethan Pieprzak; his sister Sharon Owens; and his sister-in-law Mary Giganti. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (4061 St Clair Hwy, East China, MI 48054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Huron Pointe Sportsman Club.
