He is survived by: his children, Charles Nessel (Suzanne Kranicz) of Scottsdale, Dennis Nessel (Diane) of Onaway, Catherine Crumbaugh (Tom) of Boyne City, Christopher Nessel (Eileen) of Boulder and Patricia Looze (Tom) of Boyne City. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
