It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stephen Shepard of East Jordan, Michigan, who passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shepard and Amanda Shepard; his wife Edna Marie Nielsen; his grandson Daniel Paul Whiteford; his great great grandchild Paisley Marie; and his son-in-law John Makara.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Makara of Lansing, Sandi Whiteford (John) of East Jordan, Jim Shepard (Anita) of Hudsonville and Debbie Schroeder (Tim) of East Jordan; his great grandchildren, Jourdan, Landen, Alexis, Rylan, Chyna, Wyatt, Aries, Lillie, Jeremiah, Oliver, Leo, Shayna, Brooke, Logan, Cody, Shiann, Roz, Ethan, Alley, Hunter, Parker, Dillon, Madison, Connor, Elizabeth, Sadie, Richard, Amelia and Skyler; his great great grandchildren, Payton, Violet, Oliver, Connor and Dakota; and his sister-in-law Barb Cihak (Buck) of East Jordan.
