He is survived by: his children, Celeste Townsend and Solomon Townsend (Rachel Warnos); his grandchildren, Velvet Rose, Joelyssa Hayden and Clayton Townsend; his siblings, Karen Mae, Rod Townsend (Carolyn) and Melvin Townsend; and his nephew Sunshine Townsend.
