Ruth Ann Vallance Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 91, Ruth Ann Vallance of East Jordan, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Ann Vallance to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward, Jr. Nemecek and Rose Nemecek (Burbank); her husband John E. Vallance; her children, Tom E. Vallance, Rex Alan Vallance and Candace Mary Vallance; her grandson Jimmy Johnston; her great grandchild Austin Sheldon; and her siblings, Kate Bingham, Esther Paliwoda, Raymond Nemecek and Jerry Nemecek.
She is survived by: her children, Vallerie Ann Johnston (Bobby Carter) of East Jordan, Monica Rose Spencer (Tim) of Ellsworth and Roxanne Marie Fritz (Larry) of Kingsley; her sister Josephine Morris of East Jordan; and her sister-in-law Donna L. Nemecek of East Jordan. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. (621 Main St, East Jordan, MI 49727). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (207 Nichols St, East Jordan, MI 49727).
Memorials may be directed to St. Johns Nepomucene Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church or Charlevoix County Humane Society.
