He is survived by: his wife Rosanne Cherkinsky; his children, Jeffrey Cherkinsky (Michelle Erskine) and Lorri Gordon (Andrew); his granddaughter Ziva Gordon; and his brother Jordan Cherkinsky (Marlene). He is also survived by two nieces and a nephew.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Congregation Shaarey Zedek (1924 Coolidge Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Evergreen Cemetery (1924 Coolidge Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823).
