She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Portney and Anna Portney (Schneider); her husband Max Linder; and her siblings, Raymond Portney and Eleanor Metcoff.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley Linder Doran (Woody DeMayo) and Stephen Linder (Iris); her grandchildren, Kye Doran (Olivia Bormann), Justin Linder (Carrie), Eric Socolofsky (Gloriane Yi), Jason DeMayo (Becca Butler) and Lindsey DeMayo Shaw (Jeff Shaw); and her great grandchildren, Sunny DeMayo, Hayden, Brooks Shaw, Rylan, Brooklyn, Quinn Linder, Finn and Leif Socolofsky.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Congregation Shaarey Zedek, 1924 Coolidge Road, East Lansing, MI 48823.
