With sadness, we share the passing of David Ervin Blair of East Lansing, Michigan. David, born on June 29, 1940, passed away on July 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Blair and Esther Blair (Kossak); his sister Pauline Pike; and his nephew James Pike. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca (Adams); his children, Marie of East Lansing, MI and Matthew; his daughter-in-law Amalia; his granddaughter Cora of Albuquerque, NM; his pet Emma; his brother-in-law George Pike Jr.; his niece Elizabeth Martin (Pike); and his nephew George Pike III.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in his memory to The Peoples Church Music Fund, the Department of Mathematics, and/or the College of Music.
