It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane M. Appel (East Lansing, Michigan), born in Almont, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Trieloff and Thelma Trieloff (Renaud); her husband Walter Appel; and her brother John Trieloff. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Appel (Gary Garbarino) and Caren Gawlak (Scott); her granddaughters, Kira and Dana Gawlak; her brother William Trieloff (Kelly); and her close friends, Bobbie, Sandy Davis, Judy, Paul Kindel and Nancy Bohnet.
